Position Summary: The VP Engineering leads a team of Engineers and supporting staff towards the goal of being the world's preferred supplier in all frequency products, providing timely product development for the present and upcoming market requirements in terms of cost, performance and quality.
Position Responsibilities: 1. Design and develop RF, Microwave and Millimeter Wave Active and Passive components required for Transceiver, Radars, Radios for various Hi-Rel Applications. 2. Lead and manage Engineers, Technicians and support Manufacturing on ongoing projects to support on-time deliveries. 3. Interact with Procurement and Suppliers to improve yield and on-time deliveries. 4. Lead Mechanical Engineers for the proper and timely execution of ECRs and ECOs. 5. Troubleshoot issues with prototypes, testing and/or characterization of components and subassemblies. 6. Accompany Sales staff on customer visits as needed in order to understand accurately on requirements. 7. Maintain department compliance with Quality Management System, including necessary production or updating of related documents.
Education/Experience: • BS Engineering required; MS Engineering preferred • Minimum 10 yrs experience in Design Engineering; 3+ yrs in Engineering Management • RF/Microwave/Millimeter wave industry experience required Special Skills/Competencies: • Strong knowledge of RF/Microwave/Millimeter Wave products • Strong knowledge of RF and microwave simulation software • Working knowledge of RF equipment (i.e. network analyzer, spectrum analyzer, noise figure maker) • Knowledge of ferrite devices is a plus • Strong knowledge of Solidworks, AutoCAD, Mathcad and LabVIEW • Excellent planning/organizing/project management skills • Strong business acumen and cost consciousness in order to understand impact of decisions on overall business • Excellent leadership, team building skills and people management skills • Strong written and oral communication skills |

Renaissance Electronics & Communications, LLC and its wholly owned subsidiary HXI LLC provide RF, Microwave and Millimeter Wave solutions for Military and Commercial Applications. We are currently looking for a Production Engineer to join our team in Harvard, MA. The Production Engineer/Technician is responsible assisting Engineering with prototype development projects. This includes, but is not limited to, the maintenance of all required documentation for such projects. This position required acute attention to detail, a thorough understanding of RF/Microwave components and the ability to interact with all Departments within REC as well as customers and vendors outside of REC.
Position Responsibilities: • Responsible for prototype development projects, including the maintenance of required documentation • Assemble and test RF/Microwave components such as circulators/isolators, amplifiers, attenuators, antennas, switches, fiters, VOCs, mixers, etc. • Optimize individual components of integrated assemblies for optimal performance • Interact with purchasing and vendors to assist in the expedition of procurement of parts

Position Summary: The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for the design and generation of part and assembly drawings in 2-D and 3-D, efficiently using all available tools (SolidWorks, AutoCad, etc). This position requires an extremely high attention to detail, the ability to interact with multiple departments in the organization and the innovation to find ways to improve service to our customers and cut internal costs.
Position Responsibilities: • Design and generate part drawings and assembly drawings in both 2-D and 3-D using SolidWorks • Troubleshoot manufacturing problems associated with present designs • Work with Engineering Management to help resolve production, quality and/or design issues • Manage ECR/ECN process, including the review of ECRs/Ns for accuracy and completeness, identifying any existing products/parts that might be affected by proposed changes • Ensure accuracy of all ECN components (BOM, Drawings, Revisions) in all necessary systems (MAX, paper filing, electronic storage, etc) • Documentation control as required for the organization • New design development
Education/Experience: • ME Degree required • Exposure to RF/Microwave industry preferred • Knowledge of PCBs and cabling preferred • Experience using design tools, SolidWorks preferred • Experience with documentation control preferred

This includes, but is not limited to, product testing, assisting with time studies for new builds, technical troubleshooting and engineering design assistance.
Position Responsibilities: 1. Test various products, requiring the reading of outline drawings and specifications 2. Conduct visual inspections during testing process 3. Ability to assist with assembly of products 4. Assist with time studies for new builds 5. Resolve issues through technical problem solving and troubleshooting 6. Notify Production Supervisor of defects in equipment, tools, processes or materials 7. Assist Engineering with resolution of design issues 8. Train new hires as needed
