Expanded “R” Series
The Renaissance R-Series product list continues to grow.
With new products released every month this series now includes several
components. This series addresses high volume requirements at
competitive prices. If you have a requirement of 500 units or more, be
sure to inquire about
R-Series availability.
Our R-Series line of low cost isolators is suitable for typical SATCOM
applications including VSAT, tracking satellites, data relay satellites,
microwave imaging, and environmental satellites. These low cost
isolators can also be used for other applications.

“SLE” Series Growth
The SLE series product is our fastest growing market segment. We
continue to address new requirements with ongoing development activity.
Notable features of these units are small footprint and low price (at
large volumes).
Work is in progress to reduce the height of these units
to support new applications with height constraints. The SLE Series
addresses low power applications (<10 W), which include Wireless
Microphones, GPS, and IFF.

New Solid-State based Switch Matrix
Renaissance
Electronics Switch Product Group engineers recently completed
development of an 8 in by 12 out solid-state Switch Matrix.
The 18A2BA is a solid-state based switch matrix that is
configured for 8 inputs and 12 outputs and is controlled by a Keypad
and/or Ethernet (it has its own TCP/IP). The ability to access and
control integrated matrix products is a first for Renaissance. In
addition to custom programming we also incorporated new design ideas
that replaced some cabling with printed circuit solutions.
To meet the non-blocking, full fan out requirement, eight 12-way power
dividers at the inputs were connected to twelve SP8T switches at the
respective outputs. Each input port has an LNA that ensures unity gain
and keeps noise figure below 12 dB.

Renaissance
Attends Technical Workshop
Renaissance's RF Sub-system product group recently attended the High
Data Rate Mobile Network Overlays & Base Station Upgrades technical
workshop hosted by the IWPC. This event, along with other industry
events, allows Renaissance to interact with and learn from industry
leaders to stay on the cutting edge of technology.
A major topic at this workshop was upgrading existing cell sites to 4G
technology which was fitting since Renaissance has formed a research and
development team to work in this same area. Look out for products
adapted to this application, such as our multi-band combiner which
allows signals with different frequencies and modulations to be
combined.

Renaissance Growth
Renaissance Electronics has experienced steady growth over the past
several years. Our Ferrite product line continues to be strong and we
have plans for, and have begun to realize, a major expansion of our
Switch and RF Subsystem product lines.
We have added several persons this year in our engineering,
manufacturing, and quality departments. An expanded manufacturing team
helps ensure that quality products are delivered on time, every time. We
have also added new design and test engineers to our fast growing
Integrated Switch product line.
Renaissance continues to focus on its vision to be the world’s preferred
supplier of RF Products by supporting our customers and their design and
manufacturing projects. If you are looking for a technology-driven
company, contact a Renaissance Sales Team member.
