1) New products for Audio and Broadcast Applications |
Renaissance Electronics
recently developed a new surface mount Isolator that is 10 mm in size. This
isolator will be utilized in recording studios and during stage
performances. Found in our customers’ RF mixer equipment, this new band
allows for a greater number of performers to use existing systems.
This series (Model series SLE) offers very small footprint from 380 MHz to
1700 MHz. A data sheet is available at
http://www.rec-usa.com/catalog/ferrites/SLEL.pdf .

Switch Product Group Receives Follow-on Order |
Renaissance Electronics’
Switch Product Division recently received a follow-on order 6 GHz RF Head
End Switch Matrix used in Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) applications.
Additional orders are expected as this new wireless market advances. REC now
supplies this matrix in the 2.4 GHz and the new 6.0 GHz. range. This is used
to test RF cards for MESH Node systems.
Renaissance Electronics received this follow-on order based on its technical
know-how, excellent on-time delivery and its strong relationships with
customers.

3) Newly developed Circulator |
Renaissance
Electronics has developed a new drop in circulator operating in
the 1.2 - 1.4 GHz frequency band in a 0.75” square package. This
new circulator has a phase differential of only + 7° over -40°
to +85° C, increasing reliability of performance in phased array
radar systems. The insertion loss is less than 0.4 dB and return
loss and isolation is greater than 17 dB over the entire band.
Renaissance has fine tuned this to optimize the S-parameters in
such a compact dimension, allowing such a small footprint to
maintain compact system sizes, while still exhibiting high phase
stability. This circulator has tabs that are co-planar with the
ground surface and is robust for high volume manufacturing
processes.
This new device further highlights Renaissance Electronics’
commitment to support our customers along with our continual
drive for product development and improvement.
