Major Goals Achieved by Renaissance Electronics in May |
|
Renaissance Electronics celebrated our best
booking and sales month during May 2005. Renaissance Electronics
achieved record numbers in both the booking of new orders and in the
shipment of product to our customers. This achievement is a result of
creating a teaming relationship with our customers to offer the best value
product for their applications. This consists of developing a close
relationship during the engineering process to design a part that meets the
customer’s requirements; on-time delivery of our product with high quality
standards and a close relationship providing excellent customer service.

2)
New Cellular Power Combiner |
|
Renaissance Electronics has been awarded a new
development project by a US based cellular service provider to design and
manufacture a 2-way high power combiner. This high power combiner will have
low insertion loss, high isolation and operates in the 900 MHz band. With
the use of forced air cooling, the combiner is rated for 250 Watts CW per
channel. The input and output connectors will be located on the
same side for ease of access.
The unit will combine two incoherent signals
with composite power levels of 207 Watts in one channel and 127 Watts in the
other.
The selection of Renaissance Electronics to develop this new cellular
combiner further enhances our reputation as a Technology Driven company.

3) Development Order for New Switch Matrix |
Renaissance Electronics has been
awarded a development order for a state-of-the-art 6 GHz Switch
Matrix for Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) operation. This Switch
Matrix will have two device-under-test (D.U.T.) ports and 6
instruments ports. The RF signal can be routed from either D.U.T.
port to any of the instrument port by electro-mechanical
switches. There are programmable attenuators and combiners that
can synthesize and produce the desires RF signals at the output
ports.
The Switch Matrix is fully controlled by GPIB interface and
LabView drivers. The Switch Matrix fits into a standard 19” rack
and consumes 2U in height.
Similar Switch Matrices are available for WiFi, WiMAX, 802.11and
802.16 frequency bands.

4) Ferrite Isolator Follow-On Order |
|
Renaissance Electronics received
follow-on orders for the SPY-3 program to manufacture Isolators
for a major defense contractor. Renaissance won these orders
with on-time delivery and by providing a series of highly
reliable Isolators. We have been in continuous production on
these Isolators which ultimately are on the AEGIS Radar
Platform.
