1) Surface Mount Circulator for Altimeter Applications
Renaissance Electronics is pleased to announce the project completion and 1st shipment of our new SMH Series Circulator specifically developed for the 4.2 to 4.4 GHz avionics market.

Applications for this Circulator include airborne Radio Altimeters. This unique patented surface mount design will allow avionics equipment manufacturers to incorporate surface mount technology into their new design efforts.

2) WiMAX-RoHS Products in Production
Renaissance received significant RoHS compliant Ferrite orders this month from international accounts. Renaissance continues to ramp up for higher RoHS component orders in support of WiMAX and other international accounts.

In addition to new drop-in circulators, development is in-process to include surface mount technology. These new high volume applications require smaller components that adhere to automated assembly processes that allow manufacturers to reduce cost.

Renaissance will continue to invest in new processes that support customer requirements in an ever changing wireless environment.

3) Multi-Band Combiner at CTIA Show in Orlando Florida
Renaissance Electronics will be exhibiting our Base Station product line which ranges from simple components to integrated sub-systems at this years CTIA show. Our Base Station line has been our fastest growing product group, and we are constantly developing new products, all of which will be on display at the show.

Our featured product this year will be a multi-band combiner which can take between 2 to 16 channels and combine into a single signal with very low loss and intermod performance. This Multi-Band Combiner will allow service providers to combine differences and modulations schemes into a single output port.

4) 2006 was a Banner Year for Renaissance Electronics
For the fourth year in a row Renaissance Electronics has exceed our targeted growth in both bookings and sales. 2006 was our best growth year ever with both bookings and sales growth rate well over 50% in each category.

We attribute this sustained growth to each Renaissance employee believing and supporting our Mission Statements:

  2. Exceed our customer’s expectations in ways even they didn’t believe were possible

5) New Hire at Renaissance Electronics
Renaissance Electronics is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Gabe Romero to the sales staff of Renaissance.

Gabe is a 2005 graduate of M.I.T. and will be a member of the RF Subsystems Product Group. His main focus will be supporting existing Base Station product customers in North America.
