March, 2009 (Harvard, MA) – Renaissance Electronics Corporation is pleased to announce the production of our µTCA based repeaters and macro cells for point to point and point to multi-point deployment support WiMAX and LTE systems. These Multiple-Input, Multiple-Output (MIMO) and orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM)-based systems are built upon the success and performance of industry-leading WiMAX and LTE system components and advanced wireless infrastructure equipment. The µTCA based system incorporates powerful feature sets that focus on flexibility and scalability, RF fidelity and superior RF performance (e.g. noise floor, EVM, SNR) necessary for error-free performance across a wide frequency range (400 MHz - 6 GHz).

This design is scalable to include up to 4 X 4 MIMO for maximum bandwidth efficiency.
